This instantly gained the attention of media. Hurley's relationship to Estee Lauder, a cosmetics maker, has been seen as a defining moment in her career. Hurley was granted her modeling first contract in age 29, and she's been using her to model Estee Lader's cosmetics since 1995. Vanessa Kensington is her best well-known role in her roles in the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), both of which were huge hits. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's attempts to gain popularity in the mainstream were unsuccessful. Before new material was released, two record labels signed but then removed Perry. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title track was a jolly and sly track that received little attention. The song I Kissed a Girl was a more bold ode to sexism that was accompanied by a hard edged electro-pop style. It was not a popular song and critics were critical of it for encouraging relationships with a partner as well as others who claimed the song depicted a racy scene that appealed to male desires for sexuality in women. The combination of excitement, a polished tune and an enthralling chorus made the song become a top 10 hit in a variety of countries. It led to The album, One of the Boys (2007) which was a huge success. With its bouncy sharp-tongued song, the second Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of the songs Perry created herself ultimately registered the sales of over 3 million copies across the United States.
